PM signs ruling to prefer national electronics in state purchases
MOSCOW, Mar 30 (PRIME) -- Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed a ruling on preference of national electronics in state purchases, said on Thursday.
“The government continues its work on provision of technological independence,” Mishustin said at a meeting.
Electronics with Russian processors will have an advantage at an auction. “If there is no such a bid, preference will be granted to our electronics with foreign components,” he added.
“As to foreign devices, this purchase will be considered only if there are no competitors from Russia,” Mishustin said.
This approach will support national manufacturers, shape additional guaranteed demand for their products, which should enhance development of their projects in the mid- and long-term.
